Transformation
“Blocks-to-Bliss” is a shadow-work process, guided by your higher Self. Shadow work is a method of making invisible (shadow) parts of yourself visible again. Parts that you have usually unconsciously “locked away”. By finding the key and unlocking the shadow, seeing the shadow, you can acknowledge and heal that part of yourself. You can integrate that part of yourself back into the NOW and feel more complete.
“Blocks-to-Bliss” helps you transform old, limiting beliefs, survival patterns and/or stuck energy. As the title “Blocks to Bliss” suggests. This technique helps you break through blockages. It helps you restore your energy flow and then you can experience more life energy again. The stuck energy can flow again and be used in the NOW.
This quote by Hector Ariztizábal, (born Colombia 1960) director, actor, playwright and psychologist, beautifully describes what happens at “Blocks~to~Bliss.”
“We are all wounded, if you’re not wounded, you are not alive. Wounds are tombs of things that need to die but they are also wombs of things that need to be born. My work is opening the wound so we can find the medicine. Because often the place we are most wounded is the place of our gift.”
“Blocks to Bliss” is a conscious process to understand and change pain points (triggers). A powerful tool designed to help break stuck patterns. Using symbols and images ~ the language of our INVISIBLE ~ we go through the process in a relaxed, meditative state. Think about the topic you would like to work on. If you can’t quite figure it out, I can help you during our appointment. The session is online and takes about 1 hour.
This process may bring up emotions and memories. Give yourself at least 3 days to process your experience and integrate the new. This sometimes takes this time. You have changed your foundation a bit…so everything built on it is now going to change as well. Know that you are not broken or broken…there is nothing wrong with you. This is a tool to help you create a new perspective…from an old (survival) pattern to a new, healthier way of responding to the same kinds of situations.
I have experienced it as a very gentle, easy way of transformation. there are no fireworks after a session…but a subtle shift in your behavior without any effort on your part. A deep change is usually not realized after 1 session…but after a few meetings you feel that you are more resilient in situations that did not allow it before. In the moment NOW, you are able to make different choices.

A powerful process
In Akan, a Ghanaian language, there is the term “Sankofa,” which translates to…. “go back and get it”.
“Sankofa” is also the name of a mythical bird with its legs planted firmly forward and its head turned back, holding a precious egg in its beak. The egg in its beak represents the “precious stones” or knowledge of the past on which wisdom is based. It also symbolizes the future generation that would benefit from that wisdom.
This symbol is also used in a proverb of the Akan tribe: “Se wo were fi na wosankofa a yenkyi,” which translates to…. “It is not wrong to go back to what you have forgotten.” The Akan believe that the past shines through in the present, undulating into it, and that the quest for knowledge and understanding is a lifelong process.
That’s why I think the symbol “Sankofa” is a wonderful metaphor to explain “Blocks-to-Bliss.” The mythical bird symbolizes the ability to look back at your history and find something precious in the shadows. The “gems” left there by your own (early) trauma or by pain and suffering of previous generations.
